The institution managing the Umiya Mataji Madir at Unjha in Gujarat is the central
organisation for whole of the Kadva Patidar community.

The organisation includes within its ambit Kadva Patidars of not only Gujarat, but also of
Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and similarly Kadva Patidars who are native of any place in
India. Irrespective of the language they normally speak, all Kadva Patidar's consider the
mandir at Unjha as not only their most sacred place, but also their umbrella organisation.

It is natural for people to be curious about the views of this organisation on Pirana
Satpanth. A resolution was passed on 16-Nov-1978 in the Managing Committee of the
organisation, against Pirana Satpanth, expressing concern over people embracing Pirana
Satpanth religion and further efforts were made to enlighten these people and bring them
